Francesca Leotta is Senior Research Assistant Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Catania; PhD in Public Law at the University of Napoli “Federico II”; Participation in the activities of the Center of research and advanced training in European Constitutional Law “ECONET”, instituted at the University of Catania within a joint program with other foreign Universities; Participation in the Summer School on “Issues of Constitutional Law between Italy and Russian Federation” (University of Catania and MGIMO University of Moscow, 2009). Her research activity is mainly focused on the study of autonomistic systems in a comparative and EU perspective. Moreover, according to her teaching activities, she is also exploring the protection of fundamental and social rights in EU, focusing on data protection, health care, food safety, immigration and linguistic pluralism. In the Project, she will focus her attention on the dynamics of the protection of consumers’ rights in the European multi-level system.
